Salon BaTsafon
Salon (n.): A gathering of people who come together to share ideas, create, and inspire one another — a space that is part community, part conversation, and part creative spark.

A twice-monthly English language writers’ gathering in the lower Galilee

For six years, I directed the Tel Aviv Writer’s Salon, a weekly gathering where writers came together to write, learn, and connect. It became a creative home for hundreds of people.

Now I’m bringing that spirit north.

In a time when Israeli creativity and expression matter more than ever, The Salon BaTsfafon offers an intimate, supportive creative environment for writers. We don't "workshop" your writing - we simply write.

The Way it Works

-
Check-In: What's new? What's hard? How are you feeling about writing?
-
Mini-Lesson: A short talk on aspects of writing craft, the publishing world, or promoting your work.
-
30 Minute Writing Prompt & Practice: A guided exercise to spark new work. Don’t think, just write.
-
Sharing and Feedback: I’ll read each piece aloud so writers can listen to their own words and notice how they land with others. This is the best part, I promise.

Sample Mini-Lesson Topics

-
Expressing Our Israeliness: Creativity in the wake of war
-
Substack: Yes or No?
-
